MUNICIPAL ART GALLERY OF MYKONOS
The former house of the Mykonian painter Maria Igglesi, to whom is
dedicated one of these year’s exhibitions, curated by Irini Savvani,
Art Historian, operates as a gallery, hosting periodical paint,
sculpture, photography and other exhibitions by Greek and foreign
artists. This year’s program lasts from June to October. Η πρώην
οικία της Μυκονιάτισσας ζωγράφου Μαρίας Ιγγλέση, στην οποία
είναι και αφιερωμένη μια από τις φετινές εκθέσεις, σε επιμέλεια
της ιστορικού τέχνης Ειρήνης Σαββανή, λειτουργεί ως πινακοθήκη
φιλοξενώντας περιοδικές εκθέσεις ζωγραφικής,
γλυπτικής, φωτογραφίας, κ.ά., Ελλήνων και ξένων
καλλιτεχνών. Το φετινό πρόγραμμα διαρκεί από τον
Ιούνιο μέχρι τον Οκτώβριο.

δημιουργεί ζωγραφικά έργα, γλυπτά και εγκαταστάσεις

να συζητήσει θέματα φυλής, αναπαράστασης του σώματος
και αναμνήσεων από πολιτισμούς και κουλτούρες που έχει

ANTONY GORMLEY – SIGHT
A modern sculpture exhibition of unique inspiration by the
British renowned artist Antony Gormley is hosted in the
archaeological site of Delos. The 29 human-shaped installations
have the ambition to restore human presence and create a
natural path that leads back to the mythology and the human
activity of the Delos’ past. Μια μοναδικής σύλληψης έκθεση
σύγχρονης γλυπτικής τέχνης από τον καταξιωμένο Βρετανό
καλλιτέχνη Antony Gormley φιλοξενείται στον αρχαιολογικό
χώρο της Δήλου. Οι 29 ανθρωπόμορφες εγκαταστάσεις του
φιλοδοξούν να αποκαταστήσουν την ανθρώπινη παρουσία και
να δημιουργήσουν ένα φυσικό μονοπάτι που οδηγεί πίσω
στη μυθολογία και την ανθρώπινη δραστηριότητα του
